First of all, I buy this game two days ago, on saturday, March 13th. I just playing it once, just to know what different from the first and to ....make this review of course ~,^ . OK, it's still japanesse, and I cant speak or read japanesse, I just learn that sucks katakana. That's not a big problem as long as I have its walkthought book and as long as I have played the first suikoden. But because of it, now I'll give u some of important things that you need to know(which is still japanesse, but I know).
That's enough mumbling about that, let's begin !

My Comments and the different:
Suikoden 2 still have 108 playable character and the batle system still same, but you must see a lot of little different from the first suikoden. Konami make a better graphics and action in this game. There's also lots of little efect that can make this game more and more better. First the world map, at the world map you can see birds fly together and black cloud move slowly (it wont hapen a rain, just an effect).
Then, The unite attack are great , Konami has added some effect for that type of
attack.And even it's like a magic attack.
The level up is also affected. When your character level up, its photo will shaky.
At the world map, if you dont move your character, your character will do some action, like attacking and sleep(as far as I have seen).
At town, especially at an inn or store, if you try to talk to the owner from her/his back or left or right, the owner will walk to you and talk to you. The other persons will do the same things , if you talk to then from their back, they will rotating and talk to you , and after it they will back to the first position.
And the last different things I have seen, when you recruit new members to your party, the new member's status will showed first, until you press confirm button.
